Harvest for Health: A Night of Celebration and Giving Back

As Wood River Health celebrated its 46th anniversary with its 2nd Annual Harvest for Health Gala, the organization was recognized as a Health Center National Quality Leader (NQL) and honored at the event. The evening brought together health center awardees who have met or exceeded national benchmarks in various clinical quality measure groups, including behavioral health, heart health, diabetes health, HIV prevention and care, and maternal and child health.

The sold-out gala, held at The Haversham House in Westerly, featured live music provided by Take it to the Bridge and raised an impressive $65,000 for Wood River Health. This significant increase from the previous year's event demonstrates the community's support for the organization's mission to improve the quality of life of its patients.

The evening was filled with joy and gratitude as attendees came together to celebrate the health center's achievements. The auction, which closed at 8:00 PM on Friday, September 22, featured a wide range of fabulous items, including Patriots tickets, getaways, handmade items, and more. Online bidders also had the opportunity to participate in the Virtual Auction, with proceeds going towards supporting Wood River Health's programs and services.

The funds raised from this year's Harvest for Health Gala will support various initiatives aimed at promoting health and well-being within the community.
